Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Red Fern Biosciences, LLC collects through this website, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
When you submit the contact form we collect the name, email address, organization (if provided), inquiry type, and message you enter.
Information collected automatically
When you submit the contact form we also record technical and attribution details to understand how visitors find us: the referring page, the page you first landed on, campaign parameters present in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), and your browser's user-agent string.
Before submission, campaign parameters, referrer and landing page are held in your browser's session storage so they are not lost while you browse. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
We keep our own page view statistics: the page visited, the page that referred you, a random session identifier held in your browser's session storage for the duration of the tab, the campaign parameters the visit arrived with, your device type, your country, and a one-way hash of your network address that changes every day and cannot be reversed. These statistics tell us which pages are read and which links bring visitors. They do not identify you, are not combined with other data about you, and are not shared with third parties. Visits from browsers that send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal are not recorded.
Research-use acknowledgement
Before you can use this website you are asked to confirm that you understand the products referenced here are intended for laboratory research use only. When you confirm, a record that you did so (and when) is held in your browser's session storage so the notice is not repeated on every page during that visit. It is cleared when you close the tab or window, and you will be asked again on your next visit. This record stays in your browser: it is not transmitted to us or to any service provider, and it does not identify you.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, to maintain a record of correspondence, and to understand which channels bring visitors to the site. We do not sell personal information.

Contact submissions are stored with our database provider and a notification is sent to Red Fern via an email delivery provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
- Database hosting: Supabase
- Email notifications: Resend
- Website hosting: Vercel
Retention
Inquiry records are retained for as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of correspondence, unless you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have submitted by contacting us through the Contact page.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
